Randstad is hiring for a Human Resources Administrator for our client in Waterloo, ON. You will be responsible for benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, on-boarding and recruitment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
*Please note: this is a 16 month contract (Parental leave coverage)

Responsibilities
- Benefit administration (LTD claim submissions, new hires and terminations)
- Employee orientation and on-boarding
- Promoting positive employee relations
- Wellness program updates and events
- Recruiting
- Writing and updating job descriptions as needed
- Managing the attendance program
Qualifications
- Post-graduate education in Human Resources or related work experience
- New graduates with co-op experience welcome to apply
- CHRP designation or working towards designation
- Experience in automotive or manufacturing industry is an asset
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite, with excellent knowledge of excel
- Experience with HRIS software or ADP Workforce Now is an asset
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of employment law and expertise in HR policies and procedures
