Responsibilities
HR Management
1. Create new employee files;
2. Prepare new hire and orientation packages for new employees;
3. Perform employee locker management;
4. Manage employee uniform service in conjunction with our outside service provider;
5. Process employee data (databases);
6. Assist in the recruitment process, e.g., schedule pre-hire medical appointments for employees, perform email address inbox management
7. Produce weekly and monthly reports related to employee data;
8. 8. Maintain internal HR databases including training databases;
9. Update the company's organizational chart;
10. Administer the employee reward program;
Communications and Information
11. Write, edit and translate various documents such as: PPT presentations, internal communiqués, reports;
12. Gather information for publication
13. Submit articles and information required for the internal corporate magazine;
14. Plan, coordinate internal and external meetings;
15. Maintain the HR department's intranet page;
Management of social activities
16. Participate in the organization of various departmental or company social events or activities in collaboration with the Human Resources Coordinator;
17. Manage charitable donations according to company policy;
Other
18. Participate in various meetings of the HR team;
19. Participate in the management of HR department improvement projects;
20. Performs all other related duties as requested by his/her immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
College diploma;
Minimum 2-5 years experience as an HR administrative assistant;
Expert or advanced knowledge of MS Office tools;
Excellent grammar (English and French);
Experience or education in HR is an asset.
