YOUR ROLE AS A HYGIENIST:
Under the guidance of the Quality Director, the Hygienist is mainly responsible for verifying cleaning, sanitization and operations practices within manufacturing and packaging departments in terms of contamination; for validating the design and maintenance of the equipment; for insuring respect of good manufacturing practice by all employees; and for acceptable storage and handling of raw materials.

Responsibilities
• Overview all cleaning and sanitization practices in the plant;
• Work with the C&S Coordinator to improve methods for cleaning / sanitization as needed;
• With the C&S Coordinator determine frequency of biofilm removal on the equipment used for micro sensitive products;
• Audit on a regular basis manufacturing and production facilities in order to compare with design standards (ie. Sanitary design);
• Ensure Standard Work for C&S process throughout the different shifts;
• Monitor the respect of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) by staff of the warehouse, manufacturing and packaging;
• Prepare and execute the hygiene related trainings for the different departments;
• Incorporate the “code of hygiene” as part of kdc/one Standard Work;
• Participate in training on micro engineering standards;
• Check and control maintenance of the environment in the plant;
• Develop a contamination prevention plan;
• Works with all shifts to implement and maintain contamination prevention plan
• Provide updates on biofilm removal to the plant directors;
• Provide support during a Micro Review Audit by Corporate or Clients;
• Document the KRIs, KPIs and present them to the Regional Director of Plant Hygiene;
• Perform any other related tasks or projects assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or education and / or relevant experience;
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry;
• Good knowledge of GMP;
• Bilingualism (French and English).
