Responsibilities
Works in partnership with clients, advising them how to use information management (IM) and/or information technology in order to meet their business objectives or overcome problems, work to improve the structure and efficiency of an organization’s I&IT Systems. The Specialized IT Consultant may be used to provide strategic guidance to organizations with regard to IM and Task-based IT technology, IT infrastructures and the enablement of major business processes through enhancements to IT, providing highly expert technical subject matter expertise.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience with IBM TRIRIGA; however experience with other enterprise-class IWMS programs may be considered (Must Be on Resume)
Demonstrated experience developing training products and providing virtual training on IBM TRIRIGA
Direct hands-on working knowledge and experience with the Ministry of Education’s Capital Assets Management, Funding Management and Accountability processes that support School Board’s Capital Program Funding Requests for School Facility projects
Demonstrated experience with information architecture and data management options, policies, and methods
Demonstrated experience with I&IT technologies/trends, data warehousing, databases, data services and products, networks and network-based services, data stores, transformation methodologies, repositories, business intelligence and business analysis software/tools/methodologies for information management and data warehousing
Working knowledge and experience with tools for the creation, distribution and maintenance of project documentation including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) and SharePoint
Summary
Implementation experience with basic concepts of planning and lean material flow (Kanban, MRP, Schedule sequencing & level loading, JIT, etc.)
Demonstrates understanding and use of LEAN Principles to drive efficiencies and continuous improvement
Six Sigma and/or LEAN certification (Green or Black belt).
Demonstrated ability to identify problems and opportunities in the related areas and define, structure, plan, and implement improvement projects to satisfy business group, and corporate objectives
Solid understanding of lean and statistical methods and their application to product or process engineering
Proven history in improving business process efficiency.
Ability to analyze data and make recommendations for process improvements. Creating process maps, process flows
Understand and drive towards maturity plans and related outcomes for Enterprise Delivery processes
