Do you have previous experience handling the preparation of personal income tax files? Would you be excited for a new opportunity to work within one of the world's leading accounting firms? Do you live in Toronto, Calgary, or Vancouver? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you!

We are currently looking for a Personal Income Tax Preparer to support our client, one of the big 4 accounting firms, in either their Downtown Toronto, Calgary, or Vancouver office. In this role you will work full time hours on a 4 month assignment (beginning January), and earn a rate of $20 per hour. As a Personal Income Tax Preparer you will be responsible for the following:

• Prepare personal Canadian and US income tax returns
- Prepare personal Canadian and US gross up calculations
- Review CRA notices of Assessments and draft appropriate response
- Be a team player and prioritize work
- Keep the Senior/Manager informed of the progress
- Document and save all working papers appropriately
- Quickly learn Canadian and US tax software and other technology tools

• Gain experience working for an industry leading accounting firm
• Work full time hours on a 4 month assignment
• Earn a rate of $20 per hour
• Ability to work in either the Downtown Toronto, Calgary, or Vancouver office

* Potential for occasional work from home once trained *

• 1+ year of prior personal tax experience mandatory
• University or College graduate
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office: Work, Excel, PowerPoint
• Good knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Outlook
• Ability to build excellent interpersonal relationships and proven ability to work in a team effectively
• Fluent in French and/or English
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks based on relative importance and urgency
• Discrete, available, autonomous and self-starter
