Engagement and Supply Chain Management, you will build, maintain, and cultivate relationships and engagement activities with Indigenous communities and external stakeholders including local and regional communities, organizations and Indigenous businesses.
You will already have previous experience in Northwest Territories and be located in that province.
The position will be located in Fort Simpson , NWT and will require frequent travel
Please note, this is NOT a FIFO role, but instead will require someone who is already located and has working knowledge of this province.
The contract role is scheduled to run through to December 2025 with potential to be extended further
Key Responsibilities will include
Develop and implement strategic engagement with key stakeholders & Indigenous communities for Major Projects and Operations in the Northwest Territories and northwestern Alberta.
o Key stakeholders/rights holders include local government officials, Indigenous groups, influential business leaders, emergency responders and non-government organizations.
• Maintain, cultivate and document relationships and engagement activities with Indigenous communities, local communities, and organizations
• Lead the engagement efforts for Company's Mackenzie Valley Land & Water Board permit renewal and other regulatory applications as required
• Contribute to regional engagement knowledge in support of Corporate Citizenship Investment policies and governance.
• Establishes relationships with relevant businesses or economic development leads for Indigenous communities, maintains current information for businesses in region
• Develops and implements Indigenous economic engagement plans for Projects and operations in the region, including providing input into the SCM process.
