Main Responsibilities - laying out, assembling, installing, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing electrical wiring, fixtures, and control devices
Equipment Repairs, Equipment Improvements, Equipment Upgrades, New Equipment Installations, Preventive Maintenance, Knowledge and experience with installing, troubleshooting and repairing Programming Logic Controllers (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi) Competency in troubleshooting HMI’s, Variable frequency drives, Motion control, Laser date coders, Ink jet printers, Case packers, Palletizers, High Speed Packaging system.
Advantages
Licensed Electrician: $38-45/hr
Day shift: 7am-3:30pm
Comprehensive benefits (health, dental, extended coverage, long term disability and more)
Up to 3 weeks vacation to start
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical equipment
Install examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, assemblies, lighting fixtures etc.
Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors hydraulic pneumatic electrical control systems.
Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices.
Preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
Lead plant lighting, boilers, the internal fuse system, and energy management.
Comfortable interpreting and work from blueprints, mechanical drawings, and sketches.
Qualifications
Industrial electrician 4 years (preferred)
442A Industrial Electrician License
Ability to use / operate hand tools, power tools and maintenance shop equipment.
• Ability to read, interpret and update Electrical and Mechanical drawings / schematics is required.
