If you're looking for an opportunity to work in a food environment but have been told in the past that you don't have the required background to work in food, keep reading. We're open to qualified individuals (you must have an Electrical License) that are looking to change industries and get into the food industry.
In this role you will be maintaining equipment such as:
- piston fillers, volumetric fillers
- PLC troubleshooting (Mitsubishi and Allen Bradley)
- highly automated equipment
- x-ray and metal detection equipment
- spiral freezers
- high speed packaging equipment
- sensors & control systems
Location: Tillsonburg
Shift: Straight days
Rate: $40/ hour
Apprentices welcome!

Responsibilities
- troubleshooting a variety of equipment
- assisting with implementing a preventative maintenance program

Qualifications
- must have either a 442A Industrial Electrician or 309A Construction & Maintenance with 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- ideally you have experience in a food environment, but it's not required
- can perform minor mechanical troubleshooting
- knowledge of refrigeration is a bonus
- ideally you already have experience using PLC's for troubleshooting, but if not - they WILL teach you
- able to work with a variets of common allergens, such as shellfish, mustards, nitrates
- able to work in a facility that has raw meats being cooked (no harvest floor in the facility)
