    Maintenance Supervisor - $72,000-85,000 - Ottawa

    Do you have a background in maintenance of heavy equipment or industrial machinery? Do you have at least 3 years of maintenance leadership experience in an industrial environment? Are you a team player who leads by example with a focus on people management and ensures a positive work environment? If you’re not afraid to be hands on and are comfortable working outdoors and in a processing facility, keep reading!

    Permanent position
    Schedule: flexible 8-4:30 or 9-5:30 (40 hours)
    Salary: $72,000-$85,000

    Responsibilities
    As an Maintenance Supervisor for this great company located in Ottawa, a normal day would include:
    - Assure daily maintenance work is completed, properly, safely and in a timely manner
    - Comply and implement consistency surrounding company and health and safety guidelines, procedures, regulations, instructions and legislative requirements
    - Creating, managing and staying within the maintenance budget plan
    - Document, update and maintain the Maintenance Management System (MMS)
    - Create, communicate and manage work schedules for the maintenance team
    - Participate in the recruiting process and conduct performance evaluations for the maintenance team
    - Work closely and communicate effectively with the Operations Manager and Maintenance Manager


    Qualifications

    - Possess strong people management skills and ability to communicate effectively, have difficult conversations, hold people accountable and celebrate the wins
    - Minimum 3 years of experience working as an Maintenance Supervisor
    - Experience conducting maintenance and repairs in an industrial environment
    - Previous experience creating, implementing and maintaining a Preventative Maintenance Plan (PMP)
    - Great time management, organizational and leadership skills
    - Intermediate computer skills with MS Office/Teams and SCADA experience is an asset
