Competitive pay rates:
Unlicensed/433A Apprentice - $30-36/hr
433A Licensed - $37-41/hr
Day shift: 8-4:30pm
Comprehensive health/medical benefits package
Retention bonus every 6mo. up to $1500
Up to 3 weeks vacation (+ sick days)
Opportunities for growth and development
Responsibilities
· Ensure optimal operation of equipment under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor
· Respond to service calls quickly & complete work orders
· Identify and diagnose breakdowns, irregularities and failures (hydraulic/pneumatic/mechanical/basic electrical)
· Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance in a safe & timely manner
· Participate in continuous improvement projects & assist team members when needed
· Installation of electro-mechanical equipment
Qualifications
2-5 years experience as an Industrial Mechanic or Licensed Millwright
433A Millwright License an asset but not required
Mechanical Certificate/Diploma is an asset
Apprentice Millwright and experienced Mechanics with relevant industry background will be considered
Plastic, Printing, Packaging experience is an asset; all manufacturing experience will be considered
