Responsibilities
Install, examine, replace or repair machines
Perform preventative maintenance to machines
Follow work orders and work efficiently to maintain schedule
Read blueprints/diagrams, and schematic drawings
Install, and troubleshoot, power transmissions, vacuums, hydraulic/pneumatic systems
Clean, lubricate and conduct general building maintenance to ensure optimal functioning
Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions
Operate hoists, cranes, jacks, lift trucks and machine tools such as lathes, grinders during installations, overhaul, or setups
Use proper lockout and tag out procedures, and follow all company health and safety standards
Qualifications
Certified Industrial Millwright 433A preferred, 433A Apprentices will be considered
2 years+ experience in a manufacturing environment
Exceptional mechanical aptitude with the ability to work independently and in a team
Exceptional mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication skills and organizational skills
Knowledgeable of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
