Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain plant equipment promptly
- Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics accurately
- Set up, tear down, and rebuild machinery and equipment efficiently
- Operate mobile and bridge cranes, as well as forklifts, safely
- Use computer programs to track work and perform backup roll-bearing maintenance
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and maintain a clean work area
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and procedures
Qualifications
- Journeyman Millwright certification
- Strong mechanical aptitude and awareness, including hand tools, basic hydraulics, and safe operation of machines
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Heavy Industrial Plant Maintenance
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Experience using air impact tools, pipe fitting tools and equipment, hoists, cutting torches, and welding equipment
