Responsibilities
What is required for the position?
• Preventative maintenance of equipment
• Improvements and modifications to existing equipment
• Corrective maintenance to prevent line stoppage and downtime
• Fabrication and assembly of parts
• Electrical repair for sensors and switches
• Request for parts as needed
• Some facility maintenance as needed
• Comply with safety rules and regulations
Qualifications
What do you need to apply?
• Millwright Certificate of Qualification (433A) required
• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Good organization, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Good fabrication and welding ability; TIG welding experience considered an asset
• Experience working with refrigeration and packaging equipment considered an asset
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs
• Good communication and ability to work overtime
