Responsibilities
Determines the appropriate paint product for the application,
Prepares the paint product in the paint kitchen to the proper formulation,
Determines whether paint will be transferred to the booth through overhead lines or pressure pot.
Prepares the booth for painting which includes performing basic preventive maintenance, connecting the paint gun, running the exhaust fans and reviewing safety equipment,
Moves parts into spray booth using material handling equipment such as a crane or forklift.
Spray paint product to the appropriate thickness to achieve proper finish.
Qualifications
Two years of Industrial paint experience
Able to read a tape measure
Mechnically inclined
Able to interpret drawings
