Responsibilities
Infrastructure Integration Assessment:
Assess Infrastructure and operations, including back-end infrastructure, data centers, network, telephony, cloud and directory services.
End-user computing, including laptops, desktops and mobile devices, service desk, On-Site IT support services and Enterprise Communication and Collaboration Tools including email, video conferencing data storage and data sharing (e.g. Microsoft 365, Teams, Zoom).
Risk Management:
IT management, including IT governance, Service Management, IT Vendor Management and Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).an assessment of the current Network, Endpoint, Service Desk, On Site Support and Microsoft Productivity tools used in this environment.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with infrastructure integration, such as data security, data residency, system compatibility, jurisdictional needs, and operational disruptions.
Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges and minimize the impact to business operations.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
Act as a liaison between various stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and technical teams, to provide regular updates on the integration assessment, challenges, and recommendations.
Coordinate with internal teams, senior leaders, and external vendors to ensure integration assessment plans are developed for consolidation activities.
Foster effective communication channels to address concerns and ensure alignment throughout the integration assessment process.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of the infrastructure integration assessment, processes, activities, and outcomes.
Infrastructure Optimization:
Collaborate with IT teams to identify opportunities for infrastructure optimization, standardization, and process improvements.
Leverage best practices and industry trends to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of technology infrastructure post-integration.
Execution and Post-Integration Support:
Provide guidance and support to execution teams, participating in planning, design sessions, and governance forums during integration execution.
Provide post-integration support to ensure the stability and continuity of integrated infrastructure systems.
Address any post-integration issues and facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) preferred.
Proven experience in infrastructure management, IT project management, or related roles, preferably within the context of mergers and acquisitions.
In-depth knowledge of technology infrastructure systems, including networks, servers, storage, databases, and applications.
Strong understanding of M&A processes, due diligence, and integration methodologies.
Familiarity with risk assessment, business continuity planning, and data security principles.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving efficient and effective integration processes.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build consensus.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
