The Inside Sales Representative role is responsible for managing all incoming customer calls/orders and ensuring fulfillment of customer orders.
- Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm), NO WEEKENDS

Responsibilities
- Responds to basic customer inquires regarding products, provides quotes, and handles order entry
- Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in (i.e. counter sales)
- Negotiates the sale price and purchase price, within certain parameters
- Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business by relating to the customer and drive process improvements
- Orders items to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained for customers
- Responsible for sourcing products in branch inventory, distribution center inventory or supplier inventory
- Determines the most cost effective shipping method for customer orders
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer service and/or inside sales/order entry position
- Strong organization and attention to detail required
- Strong communication - including written, verbal, and listening skills
- Ability to multi-task, reliable and excellent time management skills
- Basic to intermediate computer skills, including information processing, communicating internally and externally via email, using business systems and searching capabilities to find products on the internet.
- Mechanical aptitude an asset
