Advantages
- Base salary - $55,000 - first year on target earnings - $100K
- Full benefits plus RSP contribution (5%)
Responsibilities
- Create and update a list of prospective customers for use as sales leads (Engineering firms, Municipalities, Distributors, Contractors)
- Work with existing clients to upsell/ cross-sell
- Display and demonstrate the product, using samples and catalog
- Quote prices, and terms and prepare sales contracts for clients; complete material take-off based on blueprints
- Estimate date of delivery to the customer, based on knowledge of own firms production and delivery schedules
- Call and follow up on Engineering firms, Municipalities to assist in specification
- Track projects through job lead publications and coordinate this information with the local branch
- Provide technical guidance to customers on specifications and appropriate application of product
- Attend trades hows, meetings, expositions, and conventions to promote the company, brand and build connections
Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience as an Inside Sales Representative in the building materials/construction/infrastructure sector
- Successful track record of sales success in B2B environment; experienced in specification & engineering sales and formal presentations
- Strong communication
- Proficient in Mircosoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
