We are currently recruiting for a Sales Support position in the Milton area. This permanent, full time role is fully in office, with a healthy base salary and monthly KPI driven commission. Responsibilities include data entry, corresponding with clientele to develop rapport, quoting, closing sales, customer service, and other duties listed below. The ideal candidate will come from a steel manufacturer or distributor, and worked in technical quoting or an inside sales position.

Advantages
- $60,000 - $75,000 annual base salary, based on experience
- Monthly KPI driven commission
- Monday to Friday, daytime hours
- Fully in-office role with some flexibility (work from home in poor weather, etc.)

- Office environment with some exposure to the Warehouse
- Collaborative team environment
Responsibilities
- Data Entry: entering client and product information in the system and updating accordingly
- Warm calling to distributors: account management, promotional sales
- Responsible for product knowledge to answer customer questions
- Call and email customers and create rapport
- Responsible for quoting and closing sales
- Responsible for customer follow-up to open quotes, and customer requirements
- Business development through proactive sales activities, such as telephone calling, email campaigns, networking, and more
- Achieve monthly sales quotas
- Send out promotional material
- Identify and communicate problems and provide input for solutions
- Attend yearly weekend sales meeting
- Participate one weekend a year and some evenings, during the two weeks prior to and during annual physical inventory
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in Sales or Sales support
- Experience with ERP systems
- Intermediate skill level with Excel
- A background in Metals, pipes, valve, and/or fittings is a big asset
- Mature, confident, professional, and empathetic sales approach
