•Location: Kanata, ON
•Hourly: $60-$70/hour
•24 month contract with permanent placement potential

In this role you will have an impact on…

• Assist in troubleshooting, process optimization and continuous improvements across manufacturing operations in Kanata
• Develop, test and install control systems for hot cells and process equipment (controls type).
• Independently conduct and modify current practices and procedures to reflect business needs.
• Plan and execute activities to ensure project goals are met
• Commissioning of new processes, products, equipment and facilities.
• Provide technical advice as directed.

You’re an ideal candidate for this role because you bring…

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – having studies Instrumentation & Controls
• 5+ years’ experience
• Experience with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), including IQ/OQ/PQ, Validation Development, and CAPA resolution.
• Siemens experience an asset
• Working knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, facility equipment and tool design, PLC’s and related computer systems would be an asset.

• Strong business acumen with a knowledge of trends and what is happening within the market
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Agile and comfortable adjusting to ever changing priorities
• Ability to deliver results and meet deadlines
• Resourceful and able to think through a problem and knows where to find the answers
• Excellent organizational and workload prioritizing skills.
• Independent and thoughtful decision maker
