Personal Insurance Advisor in Oakville

Do you have experience working as a Personal Insurance Advisor? Would you like to work for a large insurance corporation, but in a small office environment? Do you want to work with a family like a team that is very supportive?

This may be the perfect opportunity for you!

We are recruiting for an insurance brokerage in the Oakville area. This is a full-time permanent position in an amazing Oakville location. A normal day in this position will include servicing on-going client needs and selling to new clients. The successful candidate will personally be responsible for retention, growth and account development of longtime existing and new clients.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Personal Insurance advisor. However, if you are just starting off your career, New Grads are welcome as well! If you are a team player, detail and organized this can be a great opportunity for you!

Job Duties include:
- Work with underwriters and adjusters for policies and guidelines
- Problem solve and recommend solutions for clients
- Sell new policies to new and existing clients
- Document preparation, applications for clients, and needs assessments
- Review insurance renewals and process changes
- Customer service is key
- Regular care calls
- Administrative tasks

Qualifications
- Experience working as a Personal Insurance Advisor is considered a strong asset
- New grads welcome!
- RIBO license required
- High school and/or post-secondary education
