As an infrastructure integrator technology architect, you contribute to a team of more than 60 advisers working in the profession of technology architect and technology architect integrator infrastructure. This is a cross-functional department recognized for supporting infrastructure and business projects from a Movement perspective, which capitalizes on architectural targets and the foundations in place. This support is provided not only from an infrastructure perspective but also from an application perspective.

You assume a leadership and influencing role with business partners and specialists in solution or enterprise architecture as part of strategic, complex and innovative initiatives from a Movement perspective. The nature of the files requires extensive and in-depth expertise in several technological and / or business fields and the coverage of aspects relating to data, applications and infrastructures.

You make recommendations relating to the architecture of solutions or business and produce deliverables relating to your field, within the framework of files or projects of very high operational and conceptual complexity. These require a comprehensive and in-depth analysis and understanding of the business field and the organization. The tie-downs are numerous. You are called upon to interact with a very large number of stakeholders working in various fields of expertise. Mastering interpersonal relationships then becomes an essential skill.

You exercise a consultant and content role in your field and act as a resource person and coach with senior management and authorities.

Main responsibilities

Act as a consultant and content consultant for projects, mandates specific to your area of ​​expertise and whose scope and impacts are major for the company and whose scope can be at the level of Movement. A good knowledge of security is important.

· Advise and support business partners and specialists in the positioning, planning, development, implementation and follow-ups relating to various strategic mandates under your responsibility.

· Organize, manage and deliver as needed guidance work on specific technical topics requiring consensus from multiple stakeholders.

See to the development and evolution of policies, standards, architectural targets and the foundations that support them, or technological solutions taking into account aspects affecting data, applications and infrastructures in support of projects and strategic initiatives of your unit.

· Target and analyze issues. Raise the big stakes. Establish frameworks and make recommendations to the bodies and committees concerned.

· Represent your unit on various committees made up of senior management and on authorities.
· Represent, negotiate and engage Desjardins within the framework of agreements with partners or external organizations.

Required profile
A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
Experience as a technological infrastructure architect who contributed in the feasibility and design phases of business solutions
Experience in choosing solutions requiring high security requirements and incorporating some of the following (PCI, encryption, HSM, GIA, Cryptography, End Point, firewall) (an asset)
· Have acted as an infrastructure integrator architect (architecture component) in the design of complex business solutions in a cloud computing context -
Azure, Pivotal, PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, CaaS (an asset)
Experience in designing solutions architecture in the VMware ecosystem - NSX Data Center, Network virtualization and security platform dedicated to the "Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC)" (an asset)
Experience in an AGILE delivery context
