Program Planning has an exciting career opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to company’s position as a world class leader in the management of its gas assets. In this role you will be responsible for the safe, reliable and compliant delivery of gas to our stakeholders and customers by planning risk-based asset management program spread over multiple years on our Canada Gas (CG) System. Reporting to the Manager, the successful candidate will be part of Facility Reliability and Integrity (FR&I) team that is responsible for developing and managing Facility assets (Compression and Measurement) on our CG system. This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to work with a wide range of departments within TC Energy. Therefore, the successful candidate should have strong technical, collaboration and communication skills and the ability to generate new ideas to develop innovative solutions driving overall program costs down.
This is a Calgary based position.

Responsibilities
Plan the FR&I program to meet technical, regulatory, and commercial operations requirements
• Demonstrate ability to initiate change and help others adapt to continuously changing work
• Drive data quality improvement through input and suggest process improvements to the Facility Masterplan
• Self-starter with a pro-active approach to problem identification and resolution
• Coordinate and review progress of the FR&I portfolio with the various execution teams in Canada Gas
• Prioritize, manage, and progress work status in the FI Masterplan from proposal through to completion
• Manage and find opportunities for improvement in budget development
• Present updates or other required information to internal stakeholders
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Two to three years of experience preferably within the domain of asset integrity or facilities project management
• An alternate combination of education and experience may be considered
• Engineers must be registered as an Engineer in Training
Preferred Qualifications
• Strong organizational and record keeping skills
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Competent with budget management and forecasting
• Understating of regulatory environment and requirements
• Strong presentation, interpersonal and written communication skills
