job description

Duties include:

Prepare working drawings for all BIM (Revit) projects (with some AutoCAD).

Responsible for the creation of technical content including details to the highest standard while ensuring the design intent is consistently maintained throughout the project.

Responsible for producing working drawing packages on mid rise residential projects

You will work closely with the Project Manager and coordinate with other staff members as well as coordinating all aspects of the project.

Responsible for coordination and communication within the production team.

Assist with resolving difficult operating tasks or drawing production problems Keeping up to date on codes and construction.

Qualifications include:

Diploma in Architectural Technology or a University Degree in Architecture or current OAA member.
Minimum 5 years of related experience.

Mid rise and High rise residential experience required.

MUST have hands-on experience with AutoCAD; Revit experience is an asset.

MUST have high proficiency in developing architectural drawing packages and knowledgeable with detailing is required.

Knowledge of Ontario Building Code and Ontario Building Systems.

Strong communication (written and verbal) and time management skills.

Strong documentation skills.

Site experience is an asset but not a necessity.
