We are seeking a highly skilled Intermediate Solution Architect - CRM to drive high-level technical strategies, application integrations, and multi-platform cloud migrations. In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end design and structural context for highly visible modernization initiatives, including legacy system replacements and advanced enterprise tool deployments. Operating at the intersection of business requirements and technology selection, you will author comprehensive architecture baselines, evaluate multi-vendor solutions during procurement phases, and ensure all systems seamlessly integrate with existing corporate infrastructure.
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Duration: 12-month contract (with a potential 9-month extension option)

Responsibilities
End-to-End Solution Architecture: Formulate robust software architectures, leading the end-to-end lifecycle from initial requirements discovery and technical abstraction to solution context development and final design configuration.
Modernization Strategy & Design: Drive the architectural roadmap to decommission and replace legacy enterprise systems, authoring High-Level Design (HLD) outlines and deep system integration layouts.
Diagramming & Technical Visualizations: Construct detailed system architecture diagrams mapping out software components, data exchanges, cross-system boundaries, and infrastructure relationships.
Procurement & Vendor Evaluation: Serve as a core technical advisor and evaluator during formal vendor selection tracks, conducting comparative technology assessments and cost-benefit feasibility studies.
Data-Driven Decision Governance: Author formalized Architecture Decision Documents and compile specialized evaluation packages for submission and approval before the Enterprise Architecture Review Board (EARB).
Multi-System Integration Engineering: Design, validate, and govern complex interface bridges and data workflows between incoming specialized functional platforms and foundational corporate databases.
Stakeholder Consultation: Lead collaboration sessions across cross-functional delivery squads, technical teams, business leaders, and external vendors to maintain strict alignment with broader technical ecosystems.
Qualifications
Core Technical Seniority: 10+ years of extensive, progressive IT experience operating within complex, multi-tiered technological environments.
Transformation Leadership: Proven experience leading major enterprise-wide on-premises and cloud transformations, with practical knowledge of cloud adoption frameworks, public/private cloud environments, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) architectures.
Architecture Formulation Acumen: Demonstrated expertise mapping technical solutions, encompassing requirements discovery, impact assessments, solution alternatives evaluation, and design configurations.
Network & Platform Literacy: Hands-on experience working with enterprise-grade networking tools, technical protocols, hardware platforms, and transactional communication services.
Communication & Collaboration: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of confidently presenting technical concepts to business partners, senior leadership, and external vendor partners.
Problem Solving & Prioritization: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to handle multiple competing priorities on high-visibility projects.
Education: Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or an approved equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Assets:
Formal Enterprise Architect certifications (e.g., TOGAF).
Practical, hands-on experience working with the IBM Maximo suite of applications and platforms.
