Responsibilities
Oversees the process and implement work methods to make inventory, warehousing, and shipping and receiving more efficient.
Contribute actively to continuous improvement efforts in the achievement of target objectives.
Fill out inventory reports. Coordinate monthly and year end stock counts
Participate to the daily production points and monthly production meeting.
Perform manufacturing reconciliation and balance accounting inventories in the system;
Participate in the development and optimization of processes
Establish and disseminate procedures and indicators to minimize inventory discrepancies
Participate in the daily production meeting with the whole team
Develop and communicate the inventory management process
Provide various reports related to inventory management
Participate in the monthly physical inventory
Qualifications
Experience in inventory management with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial environment or the equivalent
Good communication skills (listening, oral, and written)
Be able to act as a coach and lead a team
Have a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
Experience and knowledge of an ERP system would be an asset or knowledge of a warehouse management software
