Our established Vancouver client, one of the largest international financial institutions in the world, is seeking to hire several iOS Developers, on a six-month contract, with the possibility of long-term contract extension. What does your day look like?
As an iOS Developer, you will:
• Proactively collaborate with the project team to develop the product.
• Ensure code quality and governance.
• Have direct involvement in planning, estimating, contributing to the architecture, coding and development.
• Ensure technical decisions and information is effectively communicated across the global team.
• Monitor releases and provide ongoing support for live apps.

What experience and skillset do you bring?
• 3-5 years’ experience with Swift 2+.
• 3-5 years’ experience with Unit/UI testing.
• 2-3 years’ experience with Xcode.
• 3-5 years’ experience in iOS design best practices.
• Experience in management consulting and/or product management background at a consumer technology business.
• Effective written and oral communication and influencing skills.
• Fluent in all Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent teamwork/collaboration skills.

What additional experience do you bring?
• 3-5 years’ experience with UI automation (any tool)
• 3-5 years’ experience with Xcode’s / Fastlane’s command-line tools.
• 3-5 years’ experience with JIRA.
• 1-2 years’ experience with VIPER design pattern.
• 1-2 years’ experience with Apple HIG (Human Interface Guidelines).
• 3-5 years’ experience with scripting.
