Responsibilities
• Develops and maintains the infrastructure architecture and associated standards, policies and guidelines; ensures that the architecture ‘concepts’ are communicated and accepted within the enterprise.
• Implements and maintains the infrastructure architecture from top to bottom to ensure that performance is optimal and not compromised and aligns to the overall strategy, roadmap and selected solutions.
• Provides technical leadership to the infrastructure team through coaching and mentorship.
• Collects and maintains documentation across various Technology components and develops an up-to-date repository of technology documentation.
• Conducts current state assessment on all Technology components such as Platform,Network, Security, Data Management, Collaboration tools, Application, IT Service Management, and Integration.
• Partners with Principal Architect, SME and Vendor to develop Future State Technology Roadmap.
Qualifications
**MANDATORY EXPERIENCE**
Education Formal Education & Certification
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
Experience Technical Skills:
• Minimum ten (10) years of senior-level architecture experience.
• Must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in leading cloud model architecture and Windows end-user computing.
• Proven ability to identify and analyze business requirements
• Experience interfacing with and assessing new third parties/vendors
• Awareness of emerging IT trends and directions
Soft skills:
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal, consensus building and negotiation skills; cost/benefit analysis
• Demonstrated commitment and proven ability to do effective stakeholder management.
• A team player with a track record for meeting deadline

Experience Technical Skills:
• Solid understanding of Cloud and Microsoft offerings
• Security Architecture:
o Experience in discovering gaps or weaknesses in security
architecture to identify and mitigate known security threats or inherent weaknesses.
o Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and corporate directives related to the security and confidentiality of information (e.g. Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act) in order to identify and assess areas of concern and risk
o Solid knowledge of current security and contingency technology and techniques (e.g. digital signature, encryption, access controls, fire-walls, authentication, virus protection, etc.); and a proven working knowledge of security audit procedures and protocols.
• Technology Architecture:
o Deep knowledge and experience in Digital technologies and projects, delivering Digital solutions across multiple channels and form factors (e.g., web, mobile, etc.) or Deep knowledge and experience in Cloud-based delivery models and capabilities (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
o A thorough knowledge of the Windows concepts, Domains, Active Directory and its concepts, and the interaction between hardware, operating systems, network, data center, and application software, Linux and Unix is a plus.
o Experience in migrating workload from Data Centre to Cloud.
o Strong working knowledge of VMware or other virtual software.
o Deep understanding of TCP, IP and other network protocols. Familiarity with DNS, DHCP and other network services.
o Knowledge of disc storage, backup and restore. Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) certification an added advantage.
o Knowledge of Cisco network and voice gears and technologies.
o Knowledge of managing a data center in terms of systems monitoring, capacity planning and performance tuning.
o Good understanding of quality control and assurance strategies, planning and methodologies.
Soft Skills:
• Experience with Housing Management is a plus.
• Critical thinker with strong analytical skills, able to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, work well in a demanding dynamic environment and meet overall objectives.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals; Results driven.
• High level of personal integrity, and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity.
