• Plan and manage the scope, schedule and budget, allocate resources of technical projects to ensure projects are well-defined and successfully delivered.
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
• Effectively lead Project Teams throughout the project lifecycle promoting communication and collaboration.
• Communicates potential risks/variances upstream in timely manner.
• Manage project changes, assessing impact to budget, schedule and scope and exploring options to address.
• Track project status and escalate potential issues/risks as required.
• Gather and document project requirements and ensure delivery satisfaction with key business stakeholders and product owners.
• Develop project change management and communication plans.
• Conduct lessons learned sessions to document potential improvements.
• Contribute to ongoing development and adhere to PMO standards.

Qualifications
Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive hands-on project management experience having successfully led and delivered numerous complex IT projects at an enterprise level.
• Experience managing different types of IT projects for example software development, application migration, data modeling/data management, IT transformational projects, regulatory projects.
• Demonstrated Program/Project Management competencies: planning, budget and timeline management, scope management, risk management, timely decision making and effective team building required
• Experience with both waterfall and agile Project Management methodologies.
• PMP or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
• CSM or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience with finance/insurance industry is highly preferred.

Our client is a leading insurance company with a startup environment within the technology team. They are currently looking for an IT Project Manager to join their expanding team. Position will be working on multiple complex projects including domains in software development, application migration, data modeling/data management, IT transformational projects, regulatory projects.
