Responsibilities
Reporting to the IT Director, the Montreal-based incumbent will be responsible for:
•Responsiblefor the IT support department "End-users"
•Ensure the deployment of new tools or system updates
•Ensure the resolution and follow-up of problems that are escalated and ensure the proper distribution of tickets of lower levels or intended for other departments
•Ensure that best practices are in place to support end-users
•Technical Support Team Management
•IT inventory management for all business needs and projects
•Collaboration and/or management of one-off company projects and their budget
•Identify opportunities for improvement and provide solutions
•Responsible for hiring, training and performance evaluation of his team
•Participate in the development of budgets and contract negotiations with suppliers
•Ensure the supervision of daily reports, schedules, employee follow-ups, various communications, etc.
•Document operations and procedures
Qualifications
To excel in this position, you will need to possess the following skills:
•DEC in Computer Science, or equivalent
•3 to 5 years of experience in IT team supervision
•Relevant experience in personnel and/or project management
•Demonstrate strong leadership
•Retail experience required
•Experience in ITIL mode (an asset)
•Bilingual (French and English)
