    Are you an experienced IT Support Specialist who works closely with the Senior Systems Administrator in a tier 1 & 2 capacity?
    Are you comfortable with Windows 10 Pro, Office 365, SharePoint and public cloud environments such as Azure?

    Our Vancouver based client is looking for a IT Support Specialist who will be capable of supporting several day-to-day operational technologies, including performing installations, maintenance tasks and procedures. The IT Support Specialist assists the Senior Systems Administrator with any technology projects that may arise, and to ensure systems and services are administered and operated in the appropriate manner to ensure compliance and policy objectives are maintained.

    Responsibilities
    What will YOU do?
    • Meet service level expectations in response time and quality of service and report on the outcomes
    • Provide tier 1-2 technical support for internal and external stakeholders as needed
    • Identify, propose, and implement opportunities for process improvements
    • Installing, upgrading and maintaining business critical infrastructure and software including cloud based services
    • Assist in onboarding and offboarding employees including assigning and recovering personal computing devices.
    • Administration of all servers/systems:
    • Managing and maximize availability of the IT infrastructure.
    • Managing backup systems and maintains data disaster recovery plans
    • Creating and maintaining systems documentation
    • Maintaining all systems updated
    • Managing security of all systems per industry best practices and internal policies
    • Monitoring performance of systems and proactively address issues
    • Implementing, upgrading and decommissioning infrastructure components

    Qualifications
    How do YOU qualify?
    - Previous experience (at least 3+ years) in an IT support role / 1+ years of network administration preferred.
    - Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
    - Domain Certifications like MCSE, MCP, A+, Network+, etc. will be appreciated!
    - Experience with some or all of the following:
    • Office 365
    • Windows 10 Pro
    •. SharePoint
    • Azure Cloud (all aspects, Azure AD, App Services, etc.)
    • VMWare
    • Datto Backup
    • Dell VRTX
    • ITIL practices
