Responsibilities
Completes ITGC Audits of OPS applications.
Designs and documents IT processes that are compliant with OPS ITGC guidelines.
Works in partnership with clients, advising them on information technology in order to meet their business objectives or overcome problems, work to improve structure and efficiency of an organization’s I&IT systems.
The I&IT Consultant may be used to provide strategic guidance to organizations with regard to Information Management & IT technology, IT infrastructures and the enablement of major business processes through enhancements to IT.
Qualifications
Task-Specific Skills - 60%
Deep experience with IT General Controls audits, the ISO-equivalent, etc. Ability to review the processes and performance of large programs (IT or otherwise) that are subject to rigorous scrutiny and that are subject to meeting stringent compliance guidelines - ideally in the Public Service.
Past Experience - 40%
At least two ITGC / ISO audit projects or programs delivered by the candidate demonstrating an ability to work with executives or senior management levels. Demonstrated experience reviewing and assessing the adherence of large, complex projects to a set of governance rules or regulations, and providing formal compliance assessments that are subject to audit.
