Apply to this amazing ServiceNow Developer opportunity today!AdvantagesWhat’s in it for you!As a ServiceNow Developer with our client, you’ll receive:- Highly competitive market hourly rates- A 6-month contract with a strong probability of extension- Remote interview processResponsibilitiesWhat will you do?• Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy changes including but not limited to business rules, technical solutions, such as client scripts, UI pages/actions/policies, scheduled job, import sets and transform maps, ACLs, and notifications.• Develop custom integration components (SSO, CMDB, SAS connectors, etc.) and integrate legacy systems with ServiceNow using mid-server, web services, chatops, email, and other relevant technologies.• Hands-on experience in Service Catalog/Service Portal/Virtual Agent/HR modules• Create and use update sets to move customizations between ServiceNow instances.• Provide administrative ServiceNow support, including advanced support via troubleshooting, implementing bug fixes, and root cause analysis-Document, maintain and update policies, procedures, and controls for the operation of the ServiceNow platform and its SDLC• Responsible for reviewing requirements to ensure that they are provided in sufficient detail to be accurately estimated• Work with process managers to fully understand business functionality, pain points, and areas of improvements• Commit to the continuous improvement and learning of development and ServiceNow best practices, tools, and technology• Mentor and share technical knowledge with service management teamQualificationsQualifications • 3+ years of experience of ServiceNow development in ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, and HR modules• ServiceNow System Admin Certification• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer Certification• Strong JavaScript skills• Overarching understanding of ServiceNow Enterprise product suite• Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including ServiceNow API’s, SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS• Web portal development skills, such as HTML, CSS, Angular JS, bootstrap• Experience implementing the following Core Process Areas: Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Request, and CMDB• Ability to create reports using the standard reporting engine, plus metrics and SLAs• Intermediate Performance Analytics understanding and implementation skills• Strong understanding of ServiceNow best practices (including scripting, security, implementation)• Experience with collaboration across functional borders enterprise-wide (i.e. within and outside of Technology)• Clear written and verbal communication skills• Experience working with Agile methodology• ITIL foundation certificationSummaryIf you are a ServiceNow Developer and the prospect of joining a dedicated team intrigues you, then this role with our high-profile client could be the perfect opportunity for you.Please contact Troy with your resume at:troy.peakman@randstad.caRandstad Canada is committed to fostering a workforce reflective of all peoples of Canada.
