Journeyman Red Seal Millwright

Do you have at least 2 years of experience working on industrial machinery? Do you enjoy troubleshooting mechanical issues and finding long term solutions? Are you a 4th year Millwright or Journeyman Red Seal Millwright? Are you looking for a regular daytime schedule that still allows you to be challenged? Are you comfortable working as the only onsite Millwright at a production facility? If this sounds like something you might be interested in, keep reading!

- Industrial Mechanic and 4th year Apprentice Millwright: $26-$30/hour
- Ticketed Millwright : $35/hour
- Benefits include medical, dental, vision, RRSP matching program
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30-5pm, overtime after 8 hours per day, possible overtime Saturdays at 1.5x
- Vacation: Starting at 2 weeks per year
- Unionized environments

Responsibilities of the Journeyman Red Seal Millwright:
- Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic machinery
- Conduct troubleshooting on PLC equipment
- Modify and install production equipment
- Some welding may be required: stick, MIG, TIG on mild steel

- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Journeyman Red Seal Millwright or 4th year Millwright Apprentice
- Ability to perform maintenance and troubleshooting of various systems
- Experienced with reading and interpreting blueprints
- Experience programming PLC’s (asset)
