Responsibilities
Review and process journal entries for inventory, vehicle deals, expenses, and billing for service and parts.
Reconcile accounts, schedules, inventory, and perform tax remittances.
Analyze expenses, explore alternative suppliers, and review pricing.
Monitor receivables and assist in collections.
Coordinate filing and liaise with the facilities manager for system maintenance.
Assist in other accounting duties, special projects, and statistical analysis as needed.
Qualifications
Post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting or business.
Working towards or holding a CPA designation.
Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and accounting software, preferably with inventory management systems.
Experience in the automotive industry is an asset.
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interpret and report financial data both verbally and in written form.
