Our client in the insurance industry is seeking a Data Entry Clerk to work a 3-month assignment in Markham. The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week at a rate of $15.58 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Sort and distribute incoming mail
• Entry of insured and broker payments accurately and efficiently to respective accounts
• Investigate unidentified payments and take appropriate actions
• Handle returned/unclaimed mail and re-direct to broker or customer
• Handle exception reports and take appropriate actions
• Type collection letters on outstanding balances.
• Process Bank & Bill Type Changes
• May require to service billing inquiries via email or phone

Qualifications
• College graduate
• 1 years billing or accounting related experience
• Good PC Skills for: MS Word & MS Excel
• Strong Communication Skills (Verbal & Written)
• Ability to adapt quickly to new process and procedures
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
