Are you a recent accounting or finance graduate looking for an opportunity to develop your skills in a corporate environment? Do you have strong MS Excel skills and 1 - 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you!

We are looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to support our client, a leading Canadian Telecommunications company, in their Downtown Toronto office. In this role you will work full time hours on a 3 month assignment, and earn a rate of $20 per hour. As a Junior Financial Analyst your main responsibility will be to support Purchase Order processing and other Accounts Payable related activities, including but not limited to the following:

• Liaise with vendor and agency partners along with internal Brand teams for purchase quotes and estimates
• Record and track daily incoming Advertising and Marketing purchase estimates
• Create Purchase Order requisitions for each incoming estimate in Oracle financial system
• Revise and adjust Purchase Orders for cost estimate revisions
• Maintain monthly accrual journal entry submissions
• Maintain and enforce established purchase authorization process and policies

• Gain valuable experience with one of Canada's largest telecommunications companies
• Work full time hours on a 3 month assignment with potential for extension
• Earn a rate of $20 per hour
• Downtown Toronto location

• 1 - 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable or Purchase Order related role
• Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookup), along with experience with other Microsoft products (MS Word, Outlook)
• Strong communications skills and ability to work well with others
• Excellent organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills are required for successful achievement of position goals, in this fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• The ideal candidate will be highly talented, motivated, have exceptional interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently and as part of the team.
• Experience with Oracle is an asset
