Responsibilities
Enter product data on his/her desktop, set up rotors/armatures
Spin parts on balancer, remove weight via milling
Assist in the machine shop with milling and related activities
Receive work orders for plating undersized armatures & rotor shafts, grinding to a specified diameter
Communicate with Production Manager and Q.C. re progress and issues
Complete scheduled daily work in a timely and accurate manner
Responsible for maintaining a clean and well-organized workstation/area
Other work as assigned from time to time by the Production Manager
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience with manual machining (milling)
Familiar with machine shop skills: balancing, plating, grinding
Mechanical or related technical diploma/certificate
Willingness to learn and develop balancing & milling related activities
Able to maintain a reasonable pace of production
