You will require reliable transportation, and have a valid G class drivers license. to work with our client on this shift.
Note: You will be required to be familiar with IATF 16949 requirements, and Health and Safety legislative requirements.

Responsibilities
- Back up for Shift Supervisor when absent, including all responsibilities as
outlined in the Supervisor Job Position Record.
- Ensure that correct prints are following jobs issued on the floor.
- Ensure that employees are following all rules and codes of conduct established in
the Employee Handbook.
- Ensure that the O.H.S.A and internal safe operating principals are in place and
adhered to
- Comply with any orders and requirements of inspectors, directors, and
other agents from the M.O.L.
- Acquaint new staff and supervise with any hazard present in the workplace and provide information, instruction and competent
supervision for workers
- Ensure that all new personnel have received appropriate training on their job so that they are aware of safety requirements and proper job procedures
- Trouble shooting and investigate ways to improve operator efficiency
- Adhere to company housekeeping policies including all 5S initiatives
Qualifications
- Must have extensive experience in the manufacturing department
- Must be familiar with IATF 16949 requirements and Health and Safety legislative
requirements
- Must have blueprint reading knowledge
- Must be team oriented, excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal
skills to effectively interact with employees
- Must have excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge and application of EPICOR system. Additional computer skills an
asset
- Minimum of Grade 12 diploma required, more education is considered an asset
