Ready to help a great organization do some good? Do you have experience working in a law firm, or a non-profit as an office coordinator, receptionist, or legal assistant? Do you enjoy supporting legal teams with any of their administrative needs? Are you empathetic and understanding, and comfortable working with a vulnerable sector? Are you able to start work as soon as September 9th and available for working for at least 1-month, with the potential to be extended indefinitely (permanent)? Keep reading...

who you are

• 1-3 years of experience working in a legal environment (in-house or law firm)
• comfort working with vulnerable people
• a legal assistant or law clerk diploma program graduate
• experience in intellectual property is ideal but not required
• great client service mindset
• organized
• reliable
• can-do attitude willing to take on new challenges
• want to work for an organization that does a lot of good for not just our local community but the world

• manage email inbox
• enter sensitive data into database
• review and edit documents
• scanning, filing, faxing
• draft correspondence
• manage the intake process for new contract requests
• work with lawyers on managing contract and other databases
• following up on the execution of agreements
