Our client, in the Apparel industry , is looking to hire a Legal Assistant in the contracts department located in Downtown Vancouver.
The legal contracts administrator will help manage and support our contract lifecycle management tool (CLM) and provide administrative support within the contract request process. Requests from the business will be processed by the legal contract administrator and assigned to the proper person or team. This may require follow-up and communication with business partners to obtain all required information for the request.
Team members will rely on the contracts manager and contracts admin to assist in the workflow when documented processes are not established, or the work falls outside of the normal process.

Responsibilities
- Assist the contract manager with processing and verifying contract requests and
associated documents.
- Coordinating external review requests received from Legal.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contract-related data in Conga CLM.
- Validate accuracy of data fields entered by legal team with new contracts.
- Conduct thorough data verification and validation of contract information.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of contract-related tasks.
- Coordinate signatures of internal and external parties through use of Conga CLM signature system.
- Requesting signatory information, creating signing transaction and reassigning executed record to agreement owner to complete workflow.
- Support Contracts Manager with incoming Legal requests in our intake tool, ServiceNow and transfer necessary requests into the CLM through creation of records.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of contract-related reports and metrics.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in contract management or related field.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management software and systems. Experience with Conga is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Legal Studies or related field is preferred.
