Randstad Staffing, Canada's largest staffing agency is currently looking for a competent Legal Assistant to join a dynamic law firm downtown here in Winnipeg.

Do you have previous experience in Child Protection Law? Do you have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Legal Assistant (including a successful completion of the Legal Assistant Program)? Do you have strong organizational and time management skills? Would you like to join a great family-like environment in a hip downtown law firm? Are you a team player with great attitude and willing to take the next step in your career?

Duties will include but are not limited to:

- Preparing legal and court documents
- Correspondence with clients and lawyers
- Manage to meet deadlines
- Manage electronic and legal files
- Filing and indexing new files
- Schedule meetings
- Other duties as assigned to help the day-to-day operations

Qualifications
- Successful completion of the Legal Assistant program
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar legal assistant role
- Previous experience in Child Protection Law would be preferred
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Exceptional computer skills (MS Office, PC Law etc.)
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills required
- Strong work ethic, great energy and able to become part of a close-knit team environment
