Our business partner, a major company in the legal field well established in Quebec, is looking to hire a legal assistant in notarial law for their office in Joliette.

Responsibilities
- Be the first contact with our customers, in writing and by telephone in order to
respond to their requests, set up and confirm appointments
- Perform administrative tasks, such as: invoicing, photocopying, expense accounts, opening and closing files, filing and other administrative tasks
- Participate in the preparation of will and protection mandate files
- Participate in the preparation of succession files (research
wills, declarations of transmission, inventories, rendering of accounts
of the liquidator, etc.);
- Participate in the preparation of files for procedures not
litigation (approval of mandate, guardianship, etc.).
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in the notarial field (excluding internships)
- Excellent knowledge of French, both oral and written
- Proficiency in the English language at a minimum functional level
- Proficiency in Word and Outlook software
- Versatility, flexibility and attention to detail
- Sense of organization and good management of priorities
- Team spirit and ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships
