    Randstad Canada is hiring for Light Packaging role for meat producing facility in Guelph with seasonal and long-term roles.

    This is a great opportunity to work in a fast paced environment and get experience working with a Canadian leader in meat manufacturing. Details for the Light Packaging role are below:-

    Shift Timings- (Mon- Fri)
    Days: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
    Afternoons: 3:15 PM- 11:45 PM

    Part time is also available for the weekdays

    Pay rate-
    Starts at $16.91 / hour and $0.35 / hour premium after 2 PM

    Responsibilities
    As a Light Packager you will be but not limited to-

    • Put empty trays into the denester and place appropriate quantities of components into the trays.
    • Rotate competently within all positions of the work cell
    • Take an active roll in changeover procedures and achieve line speed efficiencies
    • Recognize and troubleshoot mechanical and production issues and communicate problems to lead hand, supervisor and/or maintenance
    • Visual quality checks of product against customer and internal specifications
    • Ability to maintain cleanliness of areas of responsibility



    Qualifications
    You must be-

    • Comfortable working with raw meat products.
    • Comfortable working in cold environment
    • Available for all scheduled shifts.
    • Lifting and Bending as required.
