    Work Location: Vancouver, BC
    Working Hour: Monday to Friday: 8:45am to 5:15pm
    Directly Reports To: Chief Credit and Risk Officer

    The Scope of your job will include:
    - Credit & Risk Assessment
    - Residential Lending Function & Operations
    - Reviewing residential Loan Portfolio
    - Lending Policy update and maintenance
    - Statutory reporting such as reports to OSFI.
    - Audit other examination requests (by internal and external parties)

    Responsibilities
    - Evaluate and underwrite residential loan applications (including new, reviews, and renewal applications)
    - Review and audit mortgage applications per established internal guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements, prior to underwriting.
    - Perform financial analysis and risk assessment where applicable.
    - Be the subject-matter-expert in both A and B mortgage transactions
    - Update relevant internal guidelines per regulations and regularly enhance the process of mortgage review & underwriting.
    - Develop and conduct training modules for employees and internal stakeholders.
    - Provide liaison and support for Branch team and Loan Admin. team.
    - Other ad hoc responsibilities as assigned.

    Qualifications
    - Five years of experience in residential lending, credit reviews, and compliances in a Canadian Financial Institution.
    - Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or other relevant fields preferred.
    - Bilingual in Mandarin & English preferred.
    - Experiences in managing complex residential lending including lending to self-employed individuals and real estate non-confirming lending.
    - Good knowledge of mortgage products and guidelines relating to the credit adjudication and funding.
    - Great understanding of OSFI B-20 guideline, Canadian residential lending industry and mortgage related products.
