operations. By coordinating import and export shipments, you will assist
with custom’s clearance, bookings and cargo tracking as well has handling
any customer inquiries relating to deliveries. The ideal candidate for this
position will be a skilled multitasker with proactive communication skills
and a strong work ethic.
Advantages

Salary $45,000-55,000 (based on experience)

Responsibilities
• Creating new files when shipment is secured and manage all aspects of
the move, including having direct liaison with customers, operational
and administrative tasks
• Ensure all operational and administrative functions are adhered to
within timelines and budget
• Preparing import and export documentation & billing (preparing
invoices) and ensuring all invoices are prepared as soon as the move
has been completed
• Collect payment for all COD shipments prior to shipment being
forwarded
• Ensuring personal effects/household goods moves are completed
smoothly by proactively liaising with clients and third parties to
coordinate all stages of the move; including freight companies,
overseas partner agents.
• Checking required documents for accuracy (e.g. passports, customs
and insurance documentation).
Qualifications
Post-Secondary Education Required
• Minimum 2 years Customer Service Experience
• Bilingual (French and English)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Very strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to work in a team environment in high pressure situations
• Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Proficient in Windows (Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word)
• Experience in booking and coordinating international ocean, road and
air freight insurance documentation - an asset
• Able to work well under pressure
• High level of professionalism at all times
• Creative and thoughtful attention to detail
