    Our client in Baie d'urfe who is a worldwide manufacturer & distributor o products, is seeking a logistics coordinator to join their team! Reporting to the Traffic Manager, the incumbent will be mainly responsible for following up with the customs broker warehouse and purchasing team to ensure accurate documents are received from our vendors and sent in a timely manner to our customs broker

    Responsibilities
    Responsibilities:
    • Support the traffic department on the import side of the business.
    • Daily function includes but limited to creating, releasing and adding charges to our inbound ocean and airfreight shipments in our ERP system.
    • Following up with freight forwarder on the status of incoming shipments.
    • Ensuring all supporting invoicing is received and applied for smooth release and delivery.
    • Releasing shipments for delivery.
    • Maintaining duty and tariff schedules in our ERP system.
    • Ensuring prior to release that items have the necessary volume indicated.
    • Bill shared ocean freight


    Qualifications
    Qualifications:
    • Industry experience.
    • 2-5 years experience in a related field.
    • English spoken with functional French (spoken and written)
    • Provide support for resolving Import issues.
    • Keep up to date on transport/importation regulations
    • Check documents so that they are in accordance with customs regulations
    • Knowledge of harmonized classification is required.
    • Audit customs invoices for accuracy. Analyze Tariff Rates- file duty appeals with brokers and/or direct with Revenue Canada
    • Tracking of containers overseas and scheduling deliveries with the warehouses.
    • Support duty drawback applications.
    • Responsible for yearly NAFTA Certificates.
