We are currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Logistics Coordinator for a Transportation company within the Burlington area. This organization specializes within trucking and support clients all over North America. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a Logistics Coordinator position within trucking, 3PL, or freight forwarding. Soft skills such strong communication over phone and email, organizational skills, and the ability to negotiate carrier rates will help this individual succeed. A normal day will include communicating with shippers and clients to confirm order details, sourcing carriers, creating Bills of Lading, and tracking shipments.

Job Duties

- Communicate with shippers and clients to confirm order details, pickup times and delivery times
- Research, source and negotiate rates with new and current carriers through TMS, Load boards, and other sources
- Communicate with clients to provide service information, solve problems, and escalate customer issues to Account Manager when needed
- Select and dispatch carriers to customer loads
- Create of Bills of Lading and any other required documentation
- Confirm pickups
- Ensure all information is updated in TMS prior to billing
- Work with Sales Executives to drive growth and operational success

- Logistics Coordinator position in Burlington
- Full-time, permanent position
- Benefits provided – Health, Dental, Vision, etc.
- 3 weeks’ vacation
- Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Ability to work from home – equipment provided (laptop, 2nd screen)

- 3-5 years of experienced within Logistics, Trucking, 3PL, freight forwarding, or similar experience
- Experience with logistics software is an asset (TMS and Load boards)
- Criminal check will be completed
- Rotating after hour on call responsibilities required
- Must have positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and hardworking
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
