As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of product from the facilities to customers across Alberta and British Colombia.
You will oversee the coordination of transportation, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics operations, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule transportation activities, including shipping, receiving, and delivery of timber products to meet customer requirements.
Manage and optimize logistics processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation while maintaining quality standards.
Maintain accurate inventory records, track product movements, and conduct regular stock reconciliations.
Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve any transportation-related issues, such as delays or damages.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including permits, licenses, and safety standards.
Continuously evaluate and improve logistics operations, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency enhancement, and process optimization.
Prepare and analyze logistics reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
Foster strong relationships with vendors, carriers, and customers to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the supply chain.
Qualifications
Intermediate Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Previous experience on SAP Systems a must
Valid driver’s license - Location is 25 minute drive east of South Calgary
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, verbally and written
Excellent customer service skills
Time and stress management
Knowledge of wood treating industry beneficial
Knowledge of health and safety standards
