Responsibilities
This person’s primary responsibility is to support the Production Planning department with logistical coordination and support.
Responsibilities
· Trace, track and expedite purchase processes
· Arranging external carriers
· Work with custom program for invoicing and credits
· Prepare paperwork and customs documentation
· Ensure daily orders are processed correctly and in a timely manner
· Assist with process improvement and cost saving initiatives
· Create and maintain contact with vendors and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods
· Interact with third party logistics service providers
· Audit freight cost and documentation
· Maintain communication with warehouse staff to ensure proper working order
· Review bills, invoices and purchase orders
· Create packing lists and update shipment information in database
· Organize files both manually and electronically
Qualifications
Qualifications
· 2 years of experience in a similar position;
· Self-starter with good judgment and can proactively manage up where appropriate
· Accountable for results, strives to meet and exceed expectations;
· Detail-oriented, results-driven and a team player;
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
· Good computer knowledge and skilled in Microsoft Office, with strong proficiency in Excel;
· Flexible, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment with high-volume;
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; and
· Bilingual (English and French).
