Then we want to hear from you!If you are interested in hearing more, please email your resume to firstname.lastname@example.orgAdvantagesWhat’s in it for you as a Linehaul Coordinator - Permanent Position- Pay: $22.50/hr- Location: Mississauga, ON (Matheson Blvd. & Dixie Rd)- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 6:00pm (OT may be required) Responsibilities- Responsible for ensuring pre-determined loads are committed in order to meet service requirements for the customer across the region.- Stay current on pricing and service commitments in order to utilize the lowest cost alternatives for every load that is run in order to maximize the profitability of each run and thus the overall fleet for each day. - Manages the Air NFO’s and ground spot quote process through pricing.- Ensure that the customer service response that the company’s Ground department gives to the Company’s internal FM customer and the outside customers is timely, accurate and complete in every instance.- Determines what additional loads can be accepted and serviced within our fleet capacity and helps determine the revenue levels that are needed to move those additional loads when they are accepted so that we ensure the profitability of the move. - After reviewing the loads that are committed to and available in the system and determining the best utilization of the company’s fleet, the Coordinator determines which loads need to be contracted to 3rd party carriers- Oversees the actions of the carriers to ensure availability and maintains departmental tasks such as accounting, reporting, record keeping in accordance with internal policies and Provincial and MTO regulations. - Oversees the actions of the Fleet Manager group within their region to ensure that the fleet is consistently available, positioned to be able to most profitably run loads within the system and are within compliance and customer requirements - Interact with Linehaul and Station Managers - daily/hourly adjustments to fleet actions, goals and issues.- Interact with the Customer Service department to maintain communication with customers and their service/business level expectations.- Interact with the Compliance Manager group to ensure compliance status, issue resolutions.- Book Hub Trailers when required- Process Trailer Inventory Reports, Drivers payroll, invoices, spot quotes and BOLs for customs clearance- Provide Fuel Trip Sheets to Safety and POD’s to Transborder- Monitor emails and provide follow ups- Trailer maintenance and repairs as requiredQualifications- High school degree or equivalent required- Post Secondary degree preferred- 2+ years of fleet management experience- Analytical and problem solving skills, financial impact understanding, ability to prioritize based on multiple criterias - Strong communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees and customers.- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills..- Excellent planning, time management, collaboration, decision making, organization, and negotiating skills.- Ability to manage and maintain departmental administrative tasks such as accounting, reporting and recordkeeping in accordance with internal policies and provincial and federal regulations.- Demonstrated success in problem solving through use of data and information metrics and improvement to performance process.- Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate, and make formal presentations in meetings and training environments.- Strong interpersonal skills including diplomacy and patience.-Working and practical knowledge of Microsoft Office (with an emphasis on Excel).- Strong PC proficiencySummaryInterested in the Linehaul Coordinator opportunity?1.
